Federal Radio continues to support the US federal government with the highly successful FedSMR trunked radio service. This system has been used by US federal government agencies and qualified government contractors since 1993 for reliable two-way radio service. In 2002, we launched a networking technology that served as the foundation for targeted coverage solutions for in-building and campus coverage.  

Today, FedSMR-D2 offers customers flexibility and choice through its use of open-standard digital radio technology. It is currently certified for operation with Motorola, Kenwood, and Harris/Tait equipment. For applications requiring enhanced security, FedSMR-D2 supports your choice of ARC-4 or AES-256 encryption.

Our IP technology enables flexible radio system linking, providing coverage precisely where and when required. With our “Ready to Go” deployable linked radio packages, you can transport your radio system for any mobile or emergency operation.
